AeroMobiles Aircraft X-Ray Robotic Inspection System

The AeroMobiles Aircraft X-Ray Robotic Inspection System is the first of its kind X-Ray inspection robot that is capable of conducting accurate and autonomous radiological NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) on various aircraft. This system provides multiple axes of motion, precision positioning of the x-ray system and full programmability of functions, all combined in a mobile platform. The robot is designed with many unique features that cater to the different requirements of a typical radiological NDT operation and its powerful control module allows full or semi automated inspection procedures to be carried out with minimal human intervention and time.

The robot is engineered with modular scalability and this allows different models of aircraft and fighter jets to be used with customized functions and capabilities. The system is powered by servo motors with a mix of linear and rotary motion elements that offers high accuracy and reliability, all masked together by robust industrial motion controllers.

The entire robot can also be built on a self-propelled mobile platform to greater facilitate the manipulation of its orientation and movement, hence further reducing downtime and labor.

A380 Upper Deck Catering Hi-lift

The A380 Prototype was successfully tested on the real Airbus A380 aircraft in Changi International Airport on 3 occasions - in Nov 2005, Feb and Dec 2006 - when it came for flight trials.

Airports that receive the A380 will need this equipment. Aeromobiles is the leader for this equipment. One who has successfully tested and market the A380 Upper Deck Catering Hi-lift.

Universal Mobile Training Mock-up

In January 2007, Aeromobiles launched the first of its kind Universal Mobile Training Mock-up which could be programmed to train operators on all aircraft types – different door sill heights and fuselage configuration (narrow & wide body).

This development means airport operators will save costs and provide a more realistic training as the aircraft’s door could be incorporated as option for operators to go through the complete training cycle – including opening the aircraft door externally.

· No need to allocate land for erection of the conventional fixed type stationary training mock-up
· No need to make different mock-up for different aircraft’s type
· No need for operator to travel to the training site for the training – no traveling time and using operator’s own equipment (not the equipment provided by the training centre).
